We have moved to our new state of the art calibration laboratories!
During late May we were delighted to move into our brand new state of the art calibration laboratories just a few minutes from our previous location. These new facilities have allowed us to really expand and grow our business, better serving our customers with greater efficiency and a more streamlined operation.
Our new premises are spread over two floors covering 2,112 sq ft with each of the labs fully UKAS accredited. The ground floor comprises our entrance hall, state of the art electrical and mechanical labs, booking in rooms and goods in entrance. The upper floors make up our production offices, quality control and technical library.
Our Electrical and temperature Labs - UKAS Electrical Calibration
With an electrical calibration capability on frequency up to 1GHz,NT 100KHz UKAS, voltage up to 50kVDC NT 12kV DC UKAS and current up to 100ADC, we can provide UKAS calibration on most types of DC or LF electrical tester or meter, from hand held field instruments to bench type laboratory standards.
Our use of the very latest automated programmable electrical calibration systems means lower prices and faster turnaround than ever for most hand held portable instruments. We are also able to provide on-site UKAS electrical calibration for a large range of measuring equipment.

Our Mechanical, Physical and Dimensional Labs - UKAS Dimensional Calibration
Calmet specialise in the measurement of length, angle and form. Our UKAS accredited dimensional calibration laboratory caters not only for typical standard mechanical gauge and tool calibration, such as micrometer calibration, thread gauge calibration, or calibration of gauge blocks; but also complex purpose built jigs and fixtures and bespoke gauges.
Over the years we've made a massive investment in state of the art high end metrology standards and machines. Why not therefore take advantage of our dimensional metrology services for any difficult to measure mechanical components, or components with very tight tolerances, or simply for extra confidence perhaps for first article inspection.
An onsite calibration service is also available for difficult to remove items such as surface tables or other heavy equipment or machinery.
