Calmet Laboratory was set up as part of the Lazgill organisation to provide a metrology and calibration service for a variety of industrial sectors, which fully enhances Lazgills’ philosophy toward accuracy and precision.

Calmet Laboratory Services are a UKAS accredited laboratory offering a calibration, replacement, measurement, servicing and repair facility. Set up in 1991, it has grown to become one of the most highly regarded laboratories in the UK. Calibration services now offered include mechanical, electrical, electronic, pressure, torque, surface tables, gauge blocks and numerous others. A wide scope, offering UKAS, and National Traceable certification, both in the laboratory and 'on-site', provide our customers with a 'total package'.

Calmet continues to expand its already wide scope of accreditation and traceable activities. We encompass the skills needed to perform a huge variety of calibration, and specialise in a 'one stop shop' philosophy. We are delighted to have won significant contracts from UK 'blue chip' companies to take over the complete administration and organisation of their calibration requirements.
